We feel incredibly privileged to lead at Ankermoor Primary Academy, due to its reputation as a school that values family, kindness, happiness, high expectations and in addition to this,  it is a safe environment to grow and develop. 

It is always a pleasure to welcome our children each day at the school gates, seeing them come into school, with a smile and a positive attitude is a reward in itself. Our children are curious, confident, polite and articulate – as you will hopefully soon see for yourselves when you visit. 

Our happy and diverse atmosphere comes from the warmth and vibrancy that radiates from children who feel safe in their learning environment and feel confident to take risks in order to become great learners.
